The article describes biography and research activity of Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Principal Researcher of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk) Argenta A. Titlyanova, who is widely known as a prominent specialist in ecosystem ecology and biotic turnover.
