In memoriam of Svetlana Vasilievna Shibareva (21.05.1953 – 25.05.2023)

Abstract

The article provides information about the research activities of Svetlana Vasilievna Shibareva, candidate of biological sciences, the researcher at the laboratory of biogeocenology at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the SB RAS, briefly describing the main areas of her research such as carbon cycle, nitrogen and other elements in agrocenoses and on coal mining spoils, peat reserves and decomposition in the mires of West Siberia and Poland, as well as fractional and chemical composition of litter in the forest and grassland ecosystems of Siberia.
