Abstract

The article presents the main biographical information about Professor Trofimov Sergey Sergeevich, who was a great scientist, excellent teacher, outstanding pedologist, relentless champion for preservation and sustainable maintenance of natural resource. He also developed  the first fundamental basis for recultivation of soils and soil cover  on the technogenic neorelief  in Siberia.
